Ice fishing is still going strong with plenty of ice to hold up through the month. Steamboat Lake has been fishing very well. We have seen some really quality cut bows, the spring bite is definitely on! The bald eagles out near Steamboat Lake have not been shy, the abundance of wildlife makes Steamboat Lake a really fun destination for ice fishermen and birdwatchers alike.

The river is opening up more and more every day. Wish temperatures in the 30s and even 40s this week, fly fishing the Yampa should be great! We've also had some really fun guide trips at Kuntz ranch. Fly fishing is a great way to take a break from skiing and enjoy the beauty of Colorado!
