This past storm did not disappoint! Snow began falling on Wednesday night and didn’t stop until Friday night. Friday morning was incredible with about 22 inches of fresh powder.  Deep snow means that you must look for the steep lines, with Storm Peak closed all day we were headed to Four Points lift and Pony. This morning is sunny and dry but there is still plenty of powder on the upper mountain due to the lift closures yesterday.  There are still plenty of stashes to be found on lower mountain as well, so get out there any enjoy the powder...

This weekend was beautiful with sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s! This weather lasted until about noon on Monday when temperatures dropped, and snow started flying. It looks like snow showers should return on Wednesday afternoon through Saturday morning bringing the deepest powder on Friday.   It’s best to stick to the groomers until the tree runs start to soften up again (hopefully...

All tree runs are well-covered and skiing well right now. Some of our favorites include: Broadway Trees Castles Lower Concentration Trees Tipi Trees Locals Tip: Grab a to-go breakfast sandwich from Gondola Pub and Grill if...

Winter is officially in full swing here in Routt County!   Although most of Friday’s snow was tracked out before lifts closed on Friday, strong wind gusts throughout the night made for some fun pockets of snow this morning! Temps have dropped again this week, so we recommend waiting a bit to hit the slopes if there is no new snow. Everything is skiing really well right now, with a solid base across the mountain.   Locals Tip: Tipi trees usually stay soft for a few days after a storm! To get to the tipi trees, head down Vagabond until...
